The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago hosts a monthly, after-hours event called MCA Prime Time. Focused on local artists it incorporates live music, performance art, interactive programs and more. This past weekend MCA partnered with Pitchfork for their November Prime Time. I was lucky enough to be in attendance for incredible performances from Jamila Woods and Noname. Being in a museum late at night felt kinda like a VIP sleepover, being able to see two fantastic local artists was the most fantastic and entertaining of bonuses.
